The two winners of the BAKGAT Country Star Search will earn an opportunity of a lifetime to work with SA’s top country music songwriters, producers, promoters and musicians.
The two winners will each have a mainstream country single written, recorded and produced especially for them by South Africa’s foremost songwriting and production team.
They will also get to record a powerful duet written and produced by the same team of professionals.
The winners will then go on to debut their songs on South Africa’s #1 country music show the BAKGAT Country Opskop 2021.

The winners of the BAKGAT Country Star Search will perform their debut country singles and duet to an enthusiastic audience of 5000 country fans on the massive Grand Arena stage, GrandWest, Cape Town in June 2021...
